Job description
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of heavy vehicles, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
Primary Responsibilities
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of heavy vehicles.
- Diagnosis of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
- Repair of engines, brakes, suspension and steering.
- Inspection and verification of vehicles.
- Replacement of parts and components.
- Recording maintenance and repairs.
- Control of spare parts and tools.
- Keeping the work area orderly and safe.
Experience & Qualifications
- Technical high school diploma in Automotive Mechanics or a related field.
- 2 years of experience maintaining and repairing truck tractors.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes and electrical systems.
- Experience diagnosing mechanical and electronic faults.
- Proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Valid driver's license.
- Teamwork.
